Phew. What a day.

So. Let's start at the morning.

I woke up and realized my ears closed up over the ten hours I slept overnight. Halfway and I couldn't get the Christmas earrings I wanted to put in, in. So that was a bust. I wore a red and black shirt with my black leggings and brown winter boots. It was 60 outside at the time, so it seemed fitting. We picked up Alicia and I guess lately I've just been really irritable...today I was annoyed so easily by her and normally it doesn't bother me. :\

We got to the pet store and shopped around while we waited on the parade. No cute guinea pigs, the birds' noises were also getting on my nerves more than they normally did. We got to see a chameleon and stuff. A cute puppy...but Mom saw some Russian Dwarf Hamsters she practically fell in love with and guess who might be getting a new pet sometime soon? XD

Then we went out and waited for the parade for like an hour and a half. Sigh. It was dull to make conversation so long and much. Augh. When the parade finally came, we were let down by there being a less-than-normal amount of these fancy policemen that have this organized routine where they practically kill each other. The high school band was playing Party Rock Anthem and lemme tell 'ya, that was plain AWESOME. Of course, Alicia didn't know what the song was...eh, step 3 of computer lessons? MEMES AND POPULAR SONGS.

Then I saw Aly! Hooray! She was carrying the sign (she can't play since she's only a sixth grader...) and looking awesome in her official shirt and everything. We waved and smiled and stuff. About twenty minutes later she snuck up on me and scared me half to death by doing the good old 'BOO!'.

After that parade, we went to a church (so hard not to get into some sort of heated conversation with a nearby priest...) to wait on the parade to start. They were serving food and stuff but I had to wash my hands, naturally, because no way am I going to eat something that will be touching my hands that touched swingsets and the ground and pets and my sick friend... (Alicia) O_o

So after that we went back outside and watched the other kids play Red Rover or something...pretty interesting concept, but I found it violent. :S Just me, prob'ly...anyway...I happened to be wearing a red shirt and black pants, but missing the black marching shoes and people kept asking me, "Why aren't you wearing your marching shoes?!" and I had to explain I was with Aly. xD

I also had some group of boys ask me what grade I was in and I told them ninth and they went, "Liar," and I told them I was homeschooled. They all laughed. I hate people like them.

Soonafter we made our way to the Oak Hill parade, Aly had been yelling my name whenever the certain time in Red Rover and that really got on my nerves. ;~; I tried not to say anything though. The parade was fun, got some candy, it was TINY though and the entire thing only went like five blocks. xD

Phew. THEN we went to Aly's house and saw her fancy-shmancy new kitchen! It had the big refrigerator, the touch sinkhead anywhere and it'd turn on, and granite 1,000+ countertops and they still haven't bought flooring yet. And they're still adding on a whole new bedroom and living room! Wealthy houses are so nice to be in. Aly's nice too, so it all adds up.

We pretty much sat outside in the nice breeze talking and eating candy until it got so freaking windy we had to go inside. Then we watched TV until I had to come home. A lot more happened, but I'm so tired by now. I got my earrings in now after putting ice to both my ears. Now to go collapse...
